Radio

Here's a sample of audio material that I have helped to be responsible for that went on the air on commercial, non-student radio stations.

Guest on Black Heart Conservative

I edited this audio file based on the episode that I did with Bro. Rick Howland that aired on WGTK-AM in Louisville, KY.

Yes for Life Radio Media Campaign

I wrote the script, edited, and spoke the disclaimer wording for the Vote Yes for Life Political Issues Committee (Kentucky Doctors for Life) ad. The 60-second version played on WYGE (London), WGTK (Louisville), and WSIP (Paintsville, Pikeville, & West Liberty). The 30-second-long version played on WBIO (Owensboro) and WAKY (Elizabethtown-Louisville). It also played on WCYO (Berea-Richmond-Irvine) thanks to Madison Co. Kentucky Right to Life liking the ad so much that they paid for it to air there too. I helped decide which radio stations to try to put the ads on as well, based on their geographical coverage areas, avoiding radio stations that aired too much out-of-state. We wished we could have had more money for the radio campaign, however.

Yes on Both Radio Media Campaign

I chose the sound effect, edited the audio, and spoke the disclaimer wording for the Vote Yes on Both Political Issues Committee (Kentucky Family Association) 30-second-long ad. The spot aired on KISS-FM (Lexington), WVLK-AM (Lexington), and WCYO (Berea-Richmond-Irvine). I helped decide which radio stations to try to put the ads on as well, though we were a bit rushed at that point and had to take what we could get. The version that actually played on the air had the "paid for by Vote Yes on Both" wording in the disclaimer instead, however.

Internship at 94-5 WGTK-FM The Answer

For the internship at WGTK-FM (Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson), I chose the background music via Omnimusic for a couple of the commercial ads that businesses wanted to air on the radio and edited it into the end production. I also handled some radio-log related things and photography.
