Video

From 2014-2021, I filmed and edited many low-budget productions, primarily for political and chess events and interviews.

Slideshow Video for Chess Client

I edited this video and applied all transitions. Many of the photos in the video were mine also. The client chose the background music.

Video Editor for Urban Louisville Chess

During the pandemic, I edited a video zoom interview and much more for Corbin Seavers.

Video Editor for The Rest of the News

From 2015-2021, I was the video editor and videographer for The Rest of the News television show that aired on an alternate TV channel of WBNA 21 in Louisville, Kentucky.

I filmed and edited over 300 videos on behalf of the Kentucky Family Association and Kentuckians for Freedom, including some filming at the WGTK-AM radio station in Louisville, KY back when it used to be at Corporate Campus Drive.

As a part of the editing job, at times I downloaded video clips from YouTube for use in the program. Regular programs were 28 minutes and 30 seconds long and called The Rest of the News. Generally speaking, the editing consisted of editing from two different video sources, perhaps plus a third Skype source. Other editing projects were typically for videos in excess of an hour in length. These videos involved remote videotaping in places such as hotel convention centers and the Kentucky State Capitol building in Frankfort, Kentucky. Some of the longer videos were made into DVDs. I also used a DVD duplicator to make copies of the DVDs when I received orders to do so. For the labels, I also made use of a DVD label printer.

I typically used video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro. For the correction of audio, I used Adobe Soundbooth, which could be integrated with the video editing software. For the conversion of video files, I used various programs, including MPEG Streamclip, Aiseesoft Video Converter (my preferred choice), and Windows Movie Maker. For DVD video menu-creation, I used Nero Start Smart and Adobe Encore.
